Sacred Arts Gallery

The creation and celebration of art is central to the spiritual life of the community of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Icons, stained glass, and metalwork grace our worship space and enrich our prayer. We have a thriving Sacred Arts group that meets to bring a range of artistic expression, and our Sacred Arts Gallery features the work of artists within the parish and the larger Albuquerque community throughout the year.

Our Parish Hall is home to St. Mark’s Sacred Arts Gallery, which exhibits works of local artists and is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 pm and Sundays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We hold receptions for these exhibits throughout the year, and often our artists conduct workshops for all ages in their favored techniques and media. If you would like to be part of our Sacred Arts offering, either to help with receptions, hanging new shows, exhibiting and/or teaching workshops, call the church office at 505-262-2484.

You may view the Liturgical Art Guide here.  If you are interested in taking classes contact Lin Marksbury.
