Summer of Conversation
Intentional One-on-One Conversations for all Ages
St. Mark’s core congregational values include connection, inclusion, and participation. One key way that we embody these values and continue to cultivate a vibrant, deeply connected community at St. Mark’s is by inviting every member to participate in St. Mark’s annual Summer of Conversation. During the Summer of Conversation we invite St. Mark’s members, of every age, to make a commitment to engage in a series of intentional, one-on-one conversations with other members of the St. Mark’s community throughout the summer. Last summer, (2025) we estimate that members easily participated in over 500 one-on-one conversations.
This Sunday, May 24th, 2026 (Pentecost), Father Christopher will offer a Summer of Conversation Kick-Off Training Event in the Parish Hall, from ~10:45am-Noon. All adults, plus youth (grades 6-12) are invited and encouraged to attend.
During the service on Sunday, May 31, 2026 (Trinity Sunday), we will offer a brief Blessing and Commissioning for all members participating in the Summer of Conversation. We invite you to complete your “Summer of Conversation Pledge Card” and return it as part of your offering on May 31. Below are files that we will discuss in the training and use through Summer of Conversation.
