St. Mark’s is a progressive faith community centered in worship, inclusive to all, active in loving service and generous with the gifts that God has given us. Through our practices of worship, welcome, nurture, service and giving we are becoming a community and growing in intimacy with God. The things we really desire cannot be bought but must be lovingly crafted through relationships. Together we are blessed to be making something beautiful for God in our neighborhood.

OUR ANSWERS
If you are a newcomer to our church, on any given Sunday morning, the first person to offer a welcome may be an usher, but don’t be surprised if during and after the service, other parishioners approach you to wish you peace and welcome. Fill out a newcomers’ card, get on our e-mail list to receive our newsletter, The Messenger, and join us for coffee and refreshments in our Parish Hall following the service. Scripture encourages us to recognize God in every person, and everyone who enters our door is welcome and important.
BELIEFS & HISTORY
Five core practices of Worship, Prayer, Service, Nurture, Giving and Fun are touchstones for our life together here at St. Mark’s. They are practices that we continue to work on together, practices that feed our souls and stretch us to become the deep people of God that this world so desperately needs.
STAFF & VESTRY
Staff: Every one of us, individually and collectively, makes up the Body of Christ. St. Mark’s is nothing without the people who enter her doors: our beloved parishioners, young and old, the corp of our volunteers, our vestry and staff. Here you’ll find short biographies of the people who staff our offices.

Vestry: One of our core beliefs in coming closer to understanding God is through service in the world and in the church. Our vestry members are committed to discerning the vision of God for our faith community and guiding the church gently toward the fulfillment of that vision. Our vestry members are the governing body of our parish and serve three-year terms.
